Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Sixth Avenue Baptist FCU is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and helping our members to do the same. As such, we are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak according to the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). We want to share with you the actions we are taking to help protect our employees and customers.

We’ve advised our employees to follow the public health authorities’ guidance regarding hygiene and personal travel, and we’ve reinforced existing SABFCU policy encouraging employees who exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay home and consult with a medical professional.

In addition:

  • Our team members may be wearing gloves.

  • Our office has been stocked with disinfecting wipes and sprays, hand sanitizers, and other disinfecting items to keep their areas clean.

  • We will be greeting you with our friendly smiling faces and a wave rather than with handshakes and hugs. SABFCU’s contingency plan allows staff to access our core system remotely to serve our members and continue operations (i.e. ACH, wires, deposits & other functions). What are my alternatives for visiting the branch in person?

  • We encourage you to proactively familiarize yourself with our 24 hour teller line at 800.560.7182 and online banking system at www.sixthavebaptistfcu.org.

From these systems, you are able to access your account should the need arise to suspend operations.
