Virtual Teller System

The credit union’s Virtual Teller system lets you check the balance of your share, checking, or loan accounts, obtain a transaction history, determine if a specific check has cleared, request a savings withdrawal check, transfer funds, and more … day or night … on holidays … over the weekend … seven days a week. All you need is a touch-tone telephone, your credit union account number, and your special Personal Identification Number (PIN). Virtual Teller is free to all credit union members. There are no per-transaction or access fees.
Skip-A-Pay
We recognize that sending the kids back to school or holiday expenses may make it difficult to make your loan payment. As a valued member, we offer you a special way to manage those occasions, our Skip-A-Month Program. Instead of worrying about making the car payment, you can use that extra cash for other needs for one month.
Complete our application and return it to us, along with a $35.00 Skip-A-Month fee for loan extensions for the Back to School and Christmas Skip Option. The $35.00 fee is required to offset administrative and operating expenses. If the extension is for hardship, the member must pay the accrued interest on the loan. The fee can be withdrawn from your Credit Union account. For the Back to School and Christmas Skip, the application and fee must be received on or before your regular due date for the month you wish to use the coupon. The program does not apply to real estate loans. If you have questions about the Skip-A-Month Program, just give us a call at: (205) 322-6654. If the extension is for hardship, the member must pay the accrued interest on the loan. To take advantage of this offer, you must be current on all loans with Sixth Avenue Baptist Federal Credit Union and must have made 3 consecutive monthly payments prior to the request to skip a payment. Also remember – you may only skip 2 payments per year per loan*.

Reorder Checks
To reorder personal checks and accessories, visit ordermychecks.com or call (877) 585-8777. Enter Routing/Transit # 262086477, and your Account # preceded by five zeros, your account # and 71 (e.g., 00000xxx71).
Check (Debit) Card
A Mastercard check card (debit card) gives you all the conveniences of an ATM card. Use it to make ATM transactions at any ATM displaying the logos shown on the back of the card. The Mastercard check card allows you to pay for purchases directly from your checking account - without writing a check! Just swipe the card, sign the purchase receipt, and you’re on your way; NO waiting for check approval. The Mastercard check card may also be used to make electronic payments online or over the phone. Applying is fast and easy; come in and see a Member Service Representative for an application!
